Call for Research papers by IIM Banglore to attend free workshop on theory development and writing empirical papers for top journals
The Office of the Dean Faculty, Centre for Software and IT Management (CSITM) and Research and Publications at IIM Bangalore will host a workshop on ‘Theory Development and Writing Empirical Papers for Top-Tier Journals’, led by Prof. Viswanath Venkatesh, Eminent Scholar and Verizon Chair, Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business. With the aim of enabling young researchers to author high-quality empirical research papers, targeting top-tier journals, the two-day workshop will be held on 10 and 11 January 2025, at the IIMB campus. The workshop is designed for research students and faculty aiming to enhance their skills in writing high-quality papers for top-tier journals.
Eligibilty
- Candidates having research papers
- Candidates willing to learn about research (Only Day 1 registration allowed).
Tenure of Workshop
- Day 1- 10 January 2025: Lecture on the topic
- Day 2- 11 January 2025: Collaborative discussions and hands-on exercises to help participants develop a specific paper
How to participate
- Candidates need to register themselves for Day 1 and Day 2 by visiting the direct apply link.
- Candidates willing to dicuss and improve their research papers should submit an abstract in the following manner:
- Maximum 3500 words
- PDF Format
- 11-point Times New Roman font
- Double spacing
- Candidates willing to submit papers have to register for Day 1 and Day 2 of workshop.
- Candidate also need to provide about his profile, reason to attend.
- A candidate who do not submit a paper may attend Day 1 only of the conference.
