Defence Research Laboratory, DRDO invites application for the Research Associate (RA) fellow from various candidates in fields related to various fields of biology. The JRF is open for candidates of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Polymer chemistry, Chemical Sciences, Environmental Engineering.

Eligibility

Age limit

  • Maximum 35 years
  • Maximum 40 years for SC/ST candidates
  • Maximum 38 years for OBC candidates

RA-02 Vacancy

Either: 

  • Phd with Specialization in microbial enzymes in either: 
    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
    • Life sciences
    • Related fields to life sciences
  • Phd with Specialization in molecular biology and bioinformatics in either:
    • Biotechnology 
    • Life Sciences
    • Related fields to life sciences

RA - 01 vacancy

Phd with experience in synthesis of nanoparticles with either:

  • Chemistry
  • Polymer chemistry
  • Chemical Sciences

RA - 04 Vacancy

Either:

  • Phd with specialization in bioremediation/biodegradation in either:
    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
    • Environmental engineering
    • Life Sciences
    • Related field to life sciences 
  • Phd in horticulture with specialization in Post harvest technology
  • Phd with specialization in plant taxonomy in either:
    • Botany
    • Forestry

NOTE: Specialization and experience are desirable only, and not mandatory

Tenure of fellowship: Two years

How to apply

  • Candidate need to appear for walk-in-interview at the venue of interview at 9:00 AM with following documents:
    • Application form (pg.3, official notification)
    • Original certificates/ testimonials 
    • Copy of published research papers & thesis
    • One photocopy set of all documents with application
  • Candidates presently employed in Government Department/ PSU's/ Autonomous Bodies should send their application through proper channel and are required to produce NOC from their employer at the time of interview

Selection Process

  • Candidate will be selected on the basis of interview and application.
  • Candidates will only be paid perks and no TA/DA will be paid.
