Ideal internship 2025


iDEX Defence Exploration and Learning (iDEAL) is a stipend-based internship program which aims to provide exposure to the students, along with practical experience in managing projects focusing on niche technology development in the areas of Defence and Aerospace.

Eligibility

  • Maximum Age limit : 26 years as on 25-07-2025
  • Candidates of either courses:
    • BE/BTech
    • BSc
    • BCA
    • BDesign
    • BVoc
    • ME
    • MTech
    • MSc
    • MCA
    • MDesign
    • MVoc
    • MBA 
    • PGDMA
    • Others related to Science 
  • Degree program of Science and Engineering/ Technology who are either 
    • Final year Undergraduate students 
    • Graduate in the year of application
    • Post graduation students (Pursuing) 
    • Post graduation students (Graduated) in year of application 
  • Candidates who have undergone or undergoing Apprenticeship Training under NATS or NAPS in any other establishment/organization are not eligible

How to apply

Candidate need to apply online by filling the form with following :
  • Latest Marksheet in 1 MB PDF
  • Details of any previous internships/Academic or Technical projects/participation in any national or international level entrepreneurship program.
  • A writeup of 300-400 words on motivation to join Ideal Internship 
  • College NOC as per Annexure format
  • Valid government ID proof 
Tenure of fellowship: 6 months + extendable on need basis (From 6th August)

Selection Process

  • Selected candidates will be notified till 31 July via email
  • All interns will be required to report at DIO office located at 8 th Floor, Konnectus Towers - II, Bhavabhuti Marg, New Delhi, 110002.
  • All interns are required to be physically present at the designated office location during the internship period
  • Office timings are from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Perks

  • Stipend : ₹30,000/- per month
  • The interns will be eligible to avail a total of 6 (six) leaves during their tenure at DIO.
  • Certificate of experience issued by MoD/Idex
