Iocl RA position

Applications are invited for Research Associate positions, purely on temporary basis for the implementation of the research project titled as “Bio-chemical and technological innovations to develop high value ‘green’ chemicals from 2G lignin and improve biorefinery sustainability” at IndianOil R&D Centre, Sector 13, Faridabad, Haryana.

Eligibility

  • Candidates with 
  • Upper Age limit as on 30.08.2025 : 
    • 40 years 
    • 45 years for Women/SC/STs candidates 
    • 43 years for OBC Candidates
  • Degree should be awarded to candidate and should have been obtained from a regular course and not distance learning or part time mode
  • For RA 1 :
    • Phd in either:
      • Microbiology 
      • Biochemistry
      • Biotechnology
    • Experience (Mandatory):  In biological conversion of lignin into high value products through Microbial Fermentation, Microbial Bioprocessing  
  • For RA 2:
    • Phd in either: 
      • Chemistry
      • Organic Chemistry
      • In-organic Chemistry
      • Analytical Chemistry
      • Physical Chemistry
    • Experience (Manadatory):  Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, bioproducts and energy research

Tenure : 1 year + Extendable based on performance
