9 open position for Juniour Research Fellow at DRDO - Great opportunity for young graduates

LRDE, Bengaluru invites applications from young and meritorious Indian citizens, who desire to pursue Radar related research as Junior Research Fellows. There are vacancy for students of Electronics and Commuication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), however, there are no existing vacany for Mechanical Engineering (ME) students.

There are total 9 vacanies out of which 5 are exisiting and 4 are anticipated and division is as follows:

  • 3 in ECE, 1 in CSE, 1 EE (Guaranteed/Existing)
  • 1 in ME, 1 in EE, 1 in CSE, 2 in ECE ( Anticipated)

Eligibility

BE/B Tech in first division in either one subject with GATE score:

  • Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

ME/Mtech in first division in either one subject

  • Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
Tenure of fellowship: 2 years with extendable upto 4 years

How to apply

  • Fill the application form attached in offiicial notification (page 3, 4) and send the email to the  hrdlrde2010@gmail.com with subject line "Application for the post of JRF-Subject".
  • Walk in for the interview at Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO Township, CV Raman Nagar, Bengaluru – 560093 on 12 December (For ECE) and 13 December (For other streams).
  • Candidates may bring project report in support of their candidature
  • Take identification document such as Aadhar (UID) Card, / Passport / PAN Card / Voter Id etc. in original and a photocopy of the same, original documents along with duly filled application form, one self attested copy of the original documents.
  • Candidates presently employed in Government Departments / Autonomous Bodies/ PSU’s will be required to produce NOC at the time of test / interview.
  • If any document / certificate furnished are in a language other than English, a duly self-attested transcript in English of the same is to be attached.
  • Reporting time: 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Selection Process

  • Submit the application and appear for the interview where original documents and infromation filled in the application form will be scrutinized. All the documents will also be checked.
  • There might be a written test before the interview and verification of documents will be done after 9:30 AM.
  • No electronic items like mobile phones / pen drive / laptop / smart watch etc. strictly will not be allowed to carry inside LRDE Campus.
  • The decision of the committee constituted by Director, LRDE in selecting the candidates will be final and binding on all the candidates. 
  •  Misrepresentations or falsification of facts detected at any stage of the selection process or instances of misconduct / misbehavior at any stage during selection process shall result in cancellation of candidature without any notice and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard

Stipend: ₹37000/- Per month
