Research based Masters Course for B.Sc. and B.Pharma Candidate to get their research done at BARC (Stipend Provided)
M.Sc. (NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY AND HOSPITAL RADIOPHARMACY) (NMT & HRP)
This course equips candidates for working as Radiopharmacist / Faculty in Nuclear Medicine
Centres and Medical Cyclotron Facilities. The course will comprise of a fulltime schedule of
lectures, demonstration, practicals and related apprenticeship. Candidates should not hold any
other job during the course, or join any other programme.
Eligibility
B.Sc. in any discipline with Chemistry as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology as subjects in the H.S.C. level.
OR
B.Pharm.
Sponsored (5 Seats) or Non-Sponsored (5 seats)
Minimum 50% Qualifying marks in CAT held by BARC on 15.12.2024 at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai – 400094.
Medium of CAT exam will be English.
How to apply
- Visit the apply link as given here or in the official notification, then register yourself by clicking on signup.
- Fill all the details in the application carefully as once entered applicant's details could not be edited.
- Once registered, click on login and login with email id and password.
- Select the required ‘Advertisement No.’ and ‘Post’ and click ‘Search’. Please make sure that you are applying for the correct post before filling the online application form.
- Enter the required data in the ‘Online Application’ and press ‘Preview’ (The name of the candidate should be as per SSC certificate (even if the maiden name has changed for married women.)

Click on Submit
- Now go to ‘Account Details’ menu.
- From the option ‘My application’ you will get the details of the application submitted. By clicking the Application No., you will get the status of your application.
- Before taking the print of the application, you have to upload your signature from the option ‘Upload Signature’. You have to upload your passport size photograph also from ‘Upload Photograph’ option.
- (The size of the photo and signature should not be more than 45KB).
- After uploading the photograph and signature, you may take the printout of the application.
Selection Process
- Apply for the course and generate admit card for CAT conducted by BARC and appear for the exam.
- A merit list will be then prepared and posted on BARC Website and candidates will be called accordingly.
- Merit list prepared is valid for 2 months only from the date of start of the course. The course is expected
- to start by January, 2025 subject to approval received from Competent Authority.
- Candidates desiring to take admission need to undergo medical test in BARC hospital to undermine
- suitability for the course.
- On the day of counselling, original document verification will be carried out for candidates who have qualified the CAT. Printout of online application and attested copies of proof of age, caste and sponsorship letter (as applicable) along with mark sheet and certificate of H.S.C. and B.Sc. / B.Pharm will be collected from the CAT-qualified candidates.
- Selected candidates have to pay ₹11000 or as prescribed by Homi Bhabha National Institute
- (HBNI). A caution deposit of ₹2000 or more have to be paid by selected candidates.
- Selected candidates will have to execute a bond to complete the course for a period of 2 years.
Stipend: ₹18500 to non-sponsored candidates and no sitpend to sponsored candidate
Tenure of the fellowship: 2 years (2024-2026)

This course equips candidates for working as Nuclear Medicine Technologist /Faculty in Nuclear Medicine Centres / Teaching institutes. The course will comprise of a fulltime schedule of lectures, demonstration, practicals and related apprenticeship. Candidates should not hold any other job during the course, or join any other programme.
Eligibility
B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry,
OR
Bioinformatics, Biotechnology (with Physics or Chemistry as one of the subjects in B.Sc.)
OR
B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine from AERB recognised institute.
