JRF at TRBL, DRDO

There are 8 vacanies for junior research fellow, 3 in field of physics, 3 in mechanical engineering, and 2 in electronics & communication engineering at Terminal Ballistics Research Lab (TBRL) Range, Ramgarh, Chandigarh. This position is offered by DRDO's Lab TBRL. The maximum age for application is 28 years for unreserved candidates, 31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility

For JRF-Physics

PG in physics in 1st Division with valid NET qualification 

For JRF-Mechanical Engineering 

Either one of the following

  • BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification.
  • ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering in 1st division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

For JRF-Electronics and Communication Engineering

Either one of the following 

  • BE/B.Tech in Elcetronics and Telecommunications engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification.
  • ME/MTech in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering in 1st division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

Tenure of the fellowship: 2 years with possible extension

How to apply

  • Candidate have to bring following documents at place of interview(Terminal Ballistics Research Lab (TBRL), Sector 30, Chandigarh):
    • Complete Bio-data
    • Passport size photograph
    • Attested copies of marksheet/ certificates (10th onwards) and their originals.
    • Caste certificate 
    • Experience certificate
    • One Valid ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, etc.)
  • Candidate have to report at venue of interview (TRBL, Sector-30, Chandigarh-160030) at 9:00 AM and before 10:00 AM.
  • Candidates working in Govt/Public Sector Undertaking /Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.
  • Candidates who have appeared earlier for interview for the above JRF posts need not apply again

Selection Process

  • Initial screening on the basis of eligibility.
  • Selected candidates after screening will move to interview round on the same date

Perks

  • Stipend ₹37,000/- per month 
  • HRA as per rules.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
