Fossee internship for btech and mtech students

FOSSEE, IIT Bombay invites applications for the Semester-long Internship 2025. The students get an opportunity to work with the FOSSEE team for one semester (90 days). This is a remote internship with continuous support and mentoring. The internship will start on 3 Febrauary 2025 and will be for one semester (90 days).

Eligibility

  • Students of any stream of enginnering
  • Either one of the degree:
    • B.tech/BE
    • ME/M.tech
  • Some projects have special requirements for the stream.

How to apply

  • Click on the apply link and fill out the form and submit it.
  • In the form, candidate have to select one project from the table given below.
  • Click on the view link for the project you prefer and complete the task given.
  • Submit the task in the link provided in the document of project.
  • After the review, the top submissions will be selected. The results of the selected interns will be displayed on the website.
  • The selected interns have to submit a duly signed scanned copy of the NOC from the institution head. The format of the NOC shall be sent to the selected interns on their registered email id.
  • Only after submission of the NOC, the selection of the intern will be finalized. If any intern fails to submit the NOC, the chance will be given to the next intern on the waitlist.

Selection Process

  • The screening task involves implementing Scilab functions for the Control System Toolbox, similar to how they are implemented in Octave.
  • To get shortlisted for the internship, Select a project and choose a screening task from the table given below. 
  • Then you need to complete at least one of the screening tasks and submit it.
  • Once submitted, the result for the internship will be announced. 
  • The selection will be purely based on the evaluation criteria of each screening task.
