Job position for video editor, graphic designer and senior researcher

There are 3 different job vacanies at MyGov which is open for graduates/post-graduates students of any stream. The position open for job are video editor, graphic designing and senior researchers. The candidate will be hired on probation for 3 months under which they are observed and then will be provided a contract. The job is based at MyGov, Government of India's an Independent Business Division under Digital India Corporation.

Video Editor

A skilled video editor is needed for this post who has the knowledge of after effects motion graphics, hands on experience in adode after effects, sound editing, etc.

Eligibility

Either one of the following:
  • Graduate in any discpline and degree
  • Diploma holder in animation

Technical Skills (Required)

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effect, Sound Editing, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to upload, manage, and optimize videos for YouTube, including adding metadata, thumbnails, and captions for better engagement and visibility.
Experinece : 5-10 years

Job Type

First 3 months Probabation Period after which a regular contract will be signed with the candidate based on candidate's performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to create, edit and present video presentations related to the Ministry/Departments assigned to.
  • Should be proficient in After Effects Motion Graphics, Animated videos, Sound SFX, Explainer videos, Whiteboard animation and Video Editing.
  • Should be able to submit a portfolio of work done previously in the area.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure situations.
  • Can deliver with minimum supervision.
  • Is able to ideate and is solution-oriented

Graphic Designer

A skilled candidate in graphic designing who has knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in Design, Adobe after Effects, Adobe Photoshop, etc is required for the job.

Eligibility

Graduate/Post Graduate in any discpline

Technical Skills (Desirable)

  • Certificate courses in Graphic Designing/ Multi Media/ Video Creation/Editing will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Motion Graphics, Editing, After Effects, Special Effects, Sound Effects, Video Editing, Render, Website / Micro site Design, Web Banner Design, Social Media post Design, Brochure & Magazine Design
Experience : 3-5 years

  • A strong background in developing layouts and graphic design for E-books/Magazines, Brochures, Posters etc.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe in Design, Adobe after Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Corel Draw.
  • Use innovation to redefine a design brief within tight deadlines.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements in design processes and assigned tasks pertinent to the design capability.
  • A creative and curious individual who is a quick learner with a willingness to adapt creativity in a government culture.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Should be able to understand social media platforms, content formats, and trends to align visual designs effectively and also engage in ideation process.

Senior Researcher

A candidate who can utilize strong data analysis and maintain up to date knowledge of government policies and schemes.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in any discpline

Technical Skills (required)

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data analysis tools and software.
  • Proficiency in creating visually engaging content, including graphics and videos, to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Experience: 2 - 3 years

Roles and Responsbility 

  • Utilize strong data analysis and interpretation skills to extract meaningful insights and trends from various sources. 
  • Create visual aids such as charts, diagrams, infographics, creatives, and videos to communicate complex data effectively and engagingly. 
  • Demonstrate excellent writing skills to create compelling and accurate reports, articles, and other written materials. 
  • Adapt to an agile work environment with regular interactions with ministries, departments, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze media coverage, public opinion surveys, and expert opinions from subject matter experts and government representatives on a daily basis.
  • Conduct thorough fact-checking to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all information and data presented.
