The Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) Bengaluru is one of the premier research establishment of DRDO and invites young and meritorious Indian nationals for walk in interview, who desire to pursue defence related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF). CABS is involved in indigenous Airborne Early warning and Control Programme through the Airborne Surveillance Platform (ASP), Technology demonstration project. There are 09 vacanies for various streams related to Computer Science Engineering.

Eligibility

  • Maximum Age limit: 
    • 28 years
    • 33 years for SC/ST candidates
    • 31 years for OBC-NCL candidates
  • Either one of the following:
    • Either one of the following: First division B.E./B.Tech with valid GATE Score (2023 and 2024)
    • First division in both M.E./M.Tech with first division in B.E./B.Tech

How to apply

  • Candidate need to send the application via email with subject line "Application for the post of Junior Research Fellowship- Subject” to jrf.rectt.cabs@gov.in with following:
    • Duly filled application form (pg. 4 and 5 in official notification).
    • Recent passport Size photograph (to be pasted in application form)
    • Educational Qualification Certificates
    • Gates Score card 
    • Experience Certificates 
    • Proof for Date of Birth 
    • Address proof 
    • Support document for CGPA to percentage conversion if applicable 
    • Support document for category (Caste Certificate )if applicable
    • Government issued Photo Identity Proof   

Selection Process

  • Candidates after registration will have to report by 8:45  AM at venue of walk-in-interview and  register themselves again from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • Initial screening and verification of testimonials will be done between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the date of interview.
  • Interview of the screened shortlisted candidates will take place from 11:00 AM onwards.
  • Incase large number of candidates appear interview can/will be conducted the next day. Therefore, candidates are requested to prepare/make arrangement accordingly. 
  • Candidate need the following document to register for the interview: 
    • Duly filled application form.
    • Attested copies of certificate/testimonials of:   
      • Qualifications
      • Experience
      • Caste (For age relaxation seeking candidates).
      • If any documents/certificate furnished are in a language other than English, a duly self-attested transcript in English of the same to be attached)
