IDEAL Internship 2025

iDEX Defence Exploration and Learning (iDEAL) is a stipend-based internship program which aims to provide exposure to the students, along with practical experience in managing projects focusing on niche technology development in the areas of Defence and Aerospace. The program will help students gain hands-on experience in program management, stakeholder management, data analysis, conflict resolutions, documentation, compliance, grant management, etc. The program aims to enhance their skills and knowledge while contributing to the organization's projects.

Eligibility

  • Age limit: 26 years
  • Candidates who have undergone or undergoing Apprenticeship Training under NATS or NAPS in any other establishment/organization are not eligible.
  • Either one of the following
    • Final year undergraduates in Science and Engineering/technology.
    • Recent graduates in Science and Engineering/technology.
    • Post Graduate students (Pursuing) with bachelors in Science and Engineering/Technology
    • Post Graduate students (Graduated) with bachelors in Science and Engineering/Technology
Tenure of internship; 6 months (Extendable on need basis)

How to apply

  • Also, while applying candidates need to have:
    • Recent Year Marksheet 
    • Details of one Referee to get reference letter (Email Id, Contact Number)
    • Certificate for one internship/work experience
  • Once the application is submitted, a candidate need to give NOC from College at the time of interview (Format given in official notification)

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be evaluated based on their application and interview performance.
  • After selection, internship will be conducted in-person. All interns are required to be physically present at the designated office location during the internship period.
  • Office timings are from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Interns are expected to adhere to these timings.
  • Regular attendance is mandatory, and interns are required to maintain punctuality and professionalism throughout the internship.

  • Monthly stipend of ₹30,000/- per month 
  • Certificate of Experience issued by iDEX/MoD upon sucessful completion of internship program.
  • Opporttunity to work in Defence sector and learn valuable skills in field of project management and technology development exercise.
  • Interns will observe official holidays as per the organization's calendar plus one leave per month.
