JRF vacancy at Transit facility, DRDO - Stipend around ₹50,000/- per month

JFR position at DRDO, Kanpur
Walk-in interview of the candidates fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below initially for a period of two years is to be held in DMSRDE, Kanpur to award Junior Research Fellowships. The candidate selected will be provided with stipend, HRA, and contigency grant on reimbursement basis.

Eligibility

  • Age limit:
    • Maximum 28 years
    • Maximum 31 years for OBC (NCL) candidates
    • Maximum 33 years for SC/ST candidates

Subject/DiscplineQualifications
Chemistry/Material SciencePost Graduate degree in relevant discpline (basic sciences) in first division with NET Qualifications
Material Science & EngineeringGraduate degree in professional course (BE/BTech) in relevant discpline in first division with NET/GATE
OR
Post graduate degree in professional course (ME/Mtech) in relevant discpline in first division both at Graduate & Post graduate level

Tenure of felllowship: 2 years + extendable

How to apply

  • Candidate need to appear for walk-in-interview at 9:00 AM at  the venue with following documents:
    • Biodata (Pg. 2 in official notification) 
    • Passport size photograph
    • Xerox copies of testimonials
    • Original marksheets/certificates/testimonials/Community certificate (if applicable)
    • GATE/NET Score Card 
    • ID (Voter's ID/Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Driving License)
  • Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of application and interview.
  • Selected candidates will be given different perks however no other special perks than mentioned.

Perks of Program

  • Stipend ₹37,000/- per month (For two years)
  • HRA
  • Contigency grant upto ₹15,000/- per annum (For two years)
  • Contigency grant upto ₹20,000/- for subsequent years 
  • Medical facility for self only through MI room facility available in the campus.
