IIT Delhi Internship 2025

IIT Delhi provides an opportunity to exceptionally qualified undergraduate students to execute an innovative research and development project under the guidance of IIT Delhi faculty. The internship/summer 

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate students of different engineering institutes who are either :
    • Indian
    • Foreigner
  • Not from IIT
  • Should have accidental insurance
Note: The selected student will be required to get himself/herself insured against any eventuality for the period of stay at IIT Delhi. The student will have to bear the insurance charges (The insurance should cover accident and accidental death)

Tenure of fellowship: 15-05-2025 to 15-07-2025

How to apply

  • Candidate should apply online with following documents:
    • Photograph (JPG, 200 x 230 px)
    • Consolidated Grade Card/ Marksheet (PDF)
    • Rank Certificate (PDF)
    • No Objection Certificate (PDF)
  • Candidate can download the required format, fill it duly and upload the same.
  • Candidate need to select their insitute name from the list of institutes while applying and if institute is not given, candidate should choose other.
  • Candidate need to mention broad area of interest, and a statement of interest in maximum 1000 characters.
  • The maximum file size for photograph is 50KB and other documents is 2 MB.
  • Candidates can make changes to their only before final submission of application..
  • Candidate need to enter their marks obtained at end of 3rd/5th semester.
  • CGPA should be provided in only 10 scale format and upto 2 decimal places for CGPA as well as percentage. 
  • Any achievements should be mentioned witihin 500 words only
  • Candidate can download PDF of their application form after submission for reference purpose

Selection Process

  • List of selected students will be displayed by second week of April 2025.

  • Cost of Travel (Train-sleeper class only) within the country, to and from IIT Delhi
  • Stay at IIT Delhi during the visit(s), including boarding and lodging
  • Stipend of ₹500/- per week
