PM Yuva 3.0 - Great opportunity for book writers to publish book with mentorship and stipend of ₹50,000 per month

PM Yuva 3


PM Yuva 3.0 scheme is launched by government of India and will help to develop a stream of writers who can write on various facets of India encompassing the past, present and future. Besides, the scheme will also provide a window to the aspiring youth to articulate themselves and present a comprehensive outlook of contribution of Indians across fields in ancient and present times.

Eligibility

  • Maximum age: 30 years
  • Past partcipants (finalist) of  Yuva 1 and 2 are not eligibile
  • The genere of the book should be non-fiction only.
  • Indian nationals including those holding PIOs or NRIs holding Indian passports can participate in the contest.
  • Work submitted should be in one of the following langugages:

  • Candidate need to make submission online and can only make one submission per candidate.
  • Candidate need to follow the following pattern for writing:

  • PIO/NRI candidates holding Indian Passport should attach a copy of their passport in the contest.
  • Candidates who make successful entry will receive acknowledgement email for the same.
  • Only typed document is accepted and no handwritten manuscript will be accepted.
  • If information from an external source in a non-fiction manuscript has been included, the source needs to be mentioned as footnotes/endnotes or in a consolidated ‘Works Cited’ section, if required
Tenure of program: 1 June - 1 November 2025 (Online)

Selection Process

  • Results will be announced by 31 May 2025
  • A total of 50 authors will be selected.
  • The number of authors to be selected as per the theme:
    • Contribution of Indian Diaspora in Nation Building – 10 authors
    • Indian Knowledge System – 20 authors
    • Makers of Modern India (1950-2025) – 20 authors
  • The selection will be made by a Committee to be constituted by NBT.
