IWAI Internship 2025

IWAI offers opportunity to students and to undertake an internship at its Headquarters located in Noida, U.P. and various Regional Offices/ Sub-Offices located across pan India.The “Interns” shall have the opportunity to know about IWAI functioning, understand overall process of development of Inland Waterways Transport (IWT) of India at the macro level, issues faced and contribute towards inputs, analysis, report writing, proposal preparation work.

Eligibility

Either one of the following

Course Course Status Minimum Marks
Graduation in any field Pursuing/Pursued Atleast 75% marks in 12th Class
Post Graduation in any field Pursuing/Pursued Atleast 60% in graduation degree
Research Scholar Pursuing/Pursued Atleast 60% in post graduation

Candidate should have a laptop of his own.

How to apply

  • The interested and eligible candidates are to send their applications, along with their CVs in prescribed format (Annexure A in official notification, ) to the given address.

Selection Process

  • Selected candidate will have to submit a final report/paper on completion of their internship and certificate will be issued.
  • At the time of joining on selection, applicants shall be required to produce a letter from their Head of Department/ Principal, indicating their status in the institution and “No Objection” ) for allowing their students to undergo Internship programme for the period for which he or she is selected.

Perks 

  • For undergraduate: ₹10,000/- per month stipend
  • For Post graduate/research scholar: ₹20,000/- per month stipend
  • Tenure: Minimum 1 month to Maximum 3 Month (In some cases, 6 months)
