8 vacancies for paid internship for Psychology and engineering students at DRDO, Delhi - Stipend of ₹5000/- per month



Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), a premier laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) invites applications from meritorious eligible final year post graduate students pursuing Psychology & pursuing final year of under graduation in engineering(CSE) in the prescribed format for a tenure of 06 months, under paid internship scheme of DRDO, as per details given below

Eligibility

  • Students of either:
    • Computer Science (CSE) 
    • Psychology (PSY)
  • Students with minimum 60% Marks
  • Final year student pursuing either:
    • PG in Psychology
    • Undergraduate (BTech/BE)

How to apply

  • Candidate need to send application by speed post to mentioned address in an Envelope titled "Application for Paid Internship" following documents:
    • Request letter for giving internship signed by HOD/Principal (Pg.4, 5, Official notification)
    • Brief Biodata in 300 Words with following (Pg 3, Official notification):
      • Highlighted achievements
      • Award/Professional Membership, if any
Tenure of Fellowship : 6 months (From 1 Aug)

Selection Process

  • Selection will be made on merit /interaction over VC/Telephone. 
  • Shortlisted students will only be notified about the joining procedures and regarding undertaking forms and indemnity bond to be filled by them and by the Head of their Institution.
  • Selected Candidates will be notified till 29th July 2025
  • Selected Candidates will have to submit the following documents:
    • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities (in original) on college letterhead mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship training at DIPR, Delhi for 06 months of internship period.
    • Police verification from local police station
    • Undertaking for adherence to Indian Official Secrets Act,1923.
    • Undertaking that intern will follow IT rules and regulations applicable for Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof
    • Undertaking for not receiving/or being paid for any other Internship
    • Selected students would need to provide their bank details for online payment of internship amount.
    • Medical fitness certificate from authorized medical practitioners holding at least an MBBS degree. 
    • At the time of joining, selected interns are required to bring their Aadhar card (in Original) along with college ID card for verification. They should also submit 03 nos. of passport size photographs at the time of joining. 
    • Selected interns would be required to provide Police Verification Report and Medical Certificate/Fitness Certificate issued by appropriate authority before the date of joining, by email to the administration i.e. admindipr.dipr@gov.in Originals of the same would have to be submitted at the time of joining 
    • All previous semesters marks sheet in original for verification should be brought.
    • Original documents will be returned immediately after verification. 
    • Any other documents if required, will be communicated to the student at the time of selection/joining. 
    • Indemnity form would have to be provided by the college as and when required by DIPR.

Perks

  • Stipend: Two equal installments of ₹15,000/- paid after 3 months each
  • Minimum 15 days attendance in a month will be required for completing the internship.
  • Certificate upon submission of project report
