Be an android app developer at government of India office - No need to give an exam

As an Android Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cutting-edge mobile experiences for our users. You will be involved in the entire app development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Ideal candidate should have proven software development skills, knowledge of modern tools as also ability to deliver results quickly and have an eye for detail.

Eligibility

Either one of the following: 

  • BE/BTech/MCA/MTech with specialization in Computers/Electronics/IT
  • M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/Physics/Mathematics/ Statistics/Electronics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Physics/Mathematics/ Statistics/Electronics.

Experience in

  • Cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native etc. 
  • Working with version control systems like Git.
  • Automated testing and continuous integration tools
  • Developing and maintaining Android applications with a strong portfolio of published apps on the Google Play Store.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages for Android development.
  • Sound knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and popular Android libraries.
  • Familiarity with backend development using technologies like Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails. 
  • Knowledge of mobile app security best practices and secure coding principles. 
  • Understanding of Material Design guidelines and implementation. 

Experience Required: : 5 Yrs+ of overall experience as Android Developer

Job Type: 

  • In-office at MyGov, New Delhi
  • First 3 months Probabation Period after which a regular contract will be signed with the candidate

Roles and Responsibility

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to conceptualize, develop, and deliver new Android applications or maintain existing application of MyGov
  • Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code while following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization techniques.

  • Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate various functionalities into the applications.
  • Collaborate with the backend development team to implement RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between the app and server.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the app's performance, stability, and security.
  • Ensure the Android applications meet the required App Store guidelines and successfully publish them on the Google Play Store.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, providing timely support and bug fixes.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
