04 vacancies for JRF and RA at DRDE, Gwalior

Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior a premier institute of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defence related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-ininterview to be held at DRDE. The details of fellowship are discussed in the blog.

Junior Research Fellows (JRF) - 03 vacancies

Eligibility

  • Age limit
    • Maximum 28 years
    • Maximum 33 years for SC/ST candidates
    • Maximum 31 years for OBC candidates
  • Candidates awarded degree/provision certificates
  • First class M.Sc. in one of the following:
    • Physical Chemistry
    • Organic Chemistry
    • Inorganic Chemistry
    • Related fields to chemistry
  • Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS, MHRD (GATE).
Tenure: 2 years + 3 years(extandable, if upgraded to SRF)

  • Candidate need to register for interview by sending email to director.drde@gov.in and anupam.deal@gov.in with following document:
    • Application Form in PDF Format (Official notification pg. 3)
  • Candidate need to then appear for walk-in-interview at 9:30 AM at the venue with following documents:
    • Hard copies of the duly filled application form with photograph attached on form.
    • One set of self-attested photocopies (Xerox) of all degrees/academic qualifications certificates/mark sheets/ experience certificates etc.
    • Original certificates/testimonials of qualifications, experience, and caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Candidates presently employed in Government Department/PSU's/Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC from employer at the time of interview.

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected on basis of application and performance on internet
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected.

  • Promotion to Senior Research Fellows (SRF)
  • Candidates can register for PhD also during tenure.
