Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior a premier institute of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defence related research as Research Associate (RA). Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-interview to be held at DRDE. The details of fellowship are discussed in the blog.

Eligibility

  • Age limit:
    • Maximum 35 years
    • Maximum 40 years for SC/ST candidates
    • Maximum 38 years for OBC candidates
  • PhD in Biology stream

How to apply

  • Candidate need to register for interview by sending email to director.drde@gov.in and anupam.deal@gov.in with following document:
    • Application Form in PDF Format (Official notification pg. 3)
  • Candidate need to then appear for walk-in-interview at 9:30 AM at the venue with following documents:
    • Hard copies of the duly filled application form with photograph attached on form.
    • One set of self-attested photocopies (Xerox) of all degrees/academic qualifications certificates/mark sheets/ experience certificates etc.
    • Original certificates/testimonials of qualifications, experience, and caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Candidates presently employed in Government Department/PSU's/Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC from employer at the time of interview.

Selection Process

  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant field.
  • Candidates will be selected on basis of application and performance on internet
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected. 
  • Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining
