DRDO JRF SSPL Fellwoship

Solid State Physics laboratory, DRDO situated at Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi has announced 14 vacancy for the post of Junior Research Fellows.

Eligibility

Maximum Age limit:

  • 28 years
  • 31 years for OBC Candidates
  • 33 years for SC/ST Candidates

Either: 

  • GATE/NET (Valid Score) with Post Graduate degree with First division Score in one of the following:
    • Physics
    • Electronics 
    • Material Science
    • Chemistry
    • Opto-electronics 
    • Semi Conductor Processing
    • Laser Optics
    • RF Electronics
    • Semi Conductor Devices Processing
    • Quantum Technology 
  • BE/BTech wiht NET/GATE qualification in either: 
    • Physics
    • Electroonics 
    • Material Science
    • Electrical & Electronics  
  • ME/MTech with first division at both in any of the following:
    • Microwave radio frequency
    • Integrated Circuits
    • VLSI 
    • Engineering Physics
    • Solid State Physics
    • Materials 
    • Any other field related to SSPL 
  • Candidates having their own fellowship from Govt. Agencies like CSIR/UGC/INSPIRE/DST etc. and Possess essential qualification will also be considered for Research Associate and J unior Research Fellowship position. However, these positions are apart from DRDO fellowship

Tenure of fellowship: 2 years + promotion opportunity to SRF

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and their GATE Score.
  • Selected candidates will have to appear for in-person interview at the venue of interview.
  • Candidates who will be awarded fellowship have to work at SSP Lab.
